Worse before it gets better...

Recently the MyNextHome crew got into my place and began to take my kitchen from looking like this to being put back together properly. You can see that one of the new walls was framed up. They framed the second one and built new rafters to stabilize the roof where the previous remodeler had destabilized it later that day.

While they worked on that, I went upstairs and cleaned up all the layers of dust caked onto my floors and trim. A small task, no further painting progress was accomplished, but it's amazing how clearing away grime boosts your motivation to create.

Little by little one travels far (and accomplishes much!). Just have to keep pressing on.
